Maybe you accidentally disable it, might just waste money. How do I re-enable it?Make sure the keyboard driver is installed and working properly
- Click start> control panel> hardware and sound> device manager
- Open the keyboard, see if it's yellow and there's an exclamation point?
- If so then the cause of your keyboard driver is wrong
- Right click on the problem driver> Update software driver> search automatically, then windows will search for suitable driver for your laptop, you can also search manually if you are sure you know which one is suitable for your laptop.
Make sure you do not lock or disable the ease of access center
- Open ease of acces center (in control panel> ease of access)
- Click "Make the keyboard esier to use" make sure you do not check any of the settings.
- Also open "set up filter key" make sure uncheck everything.
How does the above still not work? Replace the temporary drivers!
This is what I experienced, at first I was surprised because I did not find the problem that happened to the driver and the EOAC. Finally I tried this way and it works
- Go to device manager
- Right-click on the working driver (if I'm Standard PS / 2)> Update driver software
- Replace with any driver (search manual) then next next and windows will restart automatically
- After restarting, go to device manager and right click on the installed keyboard driver again, Update driver software> search automatically, then windows will find the suitable driver for your laptop.
